Solvei and Nels thought it was so much fun that their puppy had her very own toy box. They got out every single toy to look at and then piled them on Grandpa.
Solvei likes to read as much as the rest of my kids (I love it). Right now she likes to read “with you” – that is sit next to you while she looks through her book/magazine. Grandpas make the best reading buddies.
And because I was taking pictures Nels want to be a part of it.
This morning the boys went golfing, and Gavin had the best time ever! He told everybody about it at least five times each.
From what he told me, he got to drive the golf cart,
he played better than grandpa AND daddy, and he won the game.
Yesterday we tried to go to my Dad’s neighborhood pool, but it was closed for some unknown reason. Instead we dragged out the kiddie pool and played in that. The kids still thought it was a good way to cool down on a hot Texas afternoon.
…last night actually, but the kids are definitely sick of being stuck in the car as you can see today.
